On April 30 at 7 a.m., runners can hit the starting line of the Year of the Graduate 5K. The event is being held to emphasize the importance of education. The race will be held at the outdoor
track across from the Warrior Fitness Center.
“It’s the third year of the emphasis on education and this is the final year,” said Master Sgt.
The 2013 Cross Country Season will begin soon with new 5K Walk and 10K options added.
The season runs Thursday, April 4-May 23.
Each cross country run will be held at 4:30 p.m. and can occur on or off the base.
There will be eight weeks of competition.
Each team hosts a race, and lays out a course, approximately 5K in length.

At Hill Air Force Base
HAUNTING AROUND THE HILL, Ghosts and goblins, witches and warlocks are all invited to visit the Base Theater, Garrity Library, and Club Patio on Oct. 28 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. It's a big block party complete with carnival games, spooky storytelling, a movie, witches brew, and balloon artist.
