Help ensure your mail delivery
Come rain or shine, snow or sleet, the post office works hard to make sure your mail is delivered on time. However, there are a few steps you can take to make sure your base and internal mail makes it to its destination, as well:
Activity Distribution Office requirements -- commanders and directors should ensure that organizational Activity Distribution Office (ADO) appointment letters are current.
Organizational mail stops at the ADO should clearly mark separate mail containers as "Incoming" and "Outgoing" and place these containers where they are visible at all times.
Base mail delivery now twice a week
Hill Air Force Base has reduced organizational mail delivery from five days per week to two days per week effective Oct. 1. For urgent official mail pickup or drop-off, customers can come to the Official Mail Center (OMC), Building 344. Only authorized Activity Distribution Office (ADO) Points of Contact (POC) can pick up mail for their organization.
