3 Community Wingmen named
In a ceremony preceding the Hill Air Force Ball, three Community Wingmen were presented their medallions by Col. Sarah Zabel, 75th Air Base Wing commander, in the Lindquist Fighter Gallery at the Hill Aerospace Museum on Sept. 7.
Mayor Steve Curtis, Peter Jenks and Brian Garrett were given the honor for their support to Hill Air Force Base, military families and the Air Force.
Zabel said it had been an honor to work with the Community Wingmen during her time at Hill in behalf of the Airmen and that the awards were well-earned.
