Team Hill backs Tinker
A grilled hamburger event June 5 was sponsored by the Contracting, Engineering and Financial Directorates at Team Hill. Proceeds will go toward the Oklahoma victims of recent tornadoes.

Scowcroft Awards honor the best in ICBM, Space, C3I
OGDEN — The Brent Scowcroft Awards Banquet honored the best in Intercontinental Ballistic Missile, Space and Command, Control, Communications and Intelligence (C3I) at the David Eccles Conference Center on May 24.
The award, named after Lt. Gen. Brent Scowcroft, who led the Scowcroft Commission to map the future of ICBMs was originally set to honor the top performers in the ICBM arena only. It has since expanded to include the top acquisition, sustainment, maintenance and logistics performers in the space and C3I communities.

Seasonal changeover in facility temperatures saves on utility bills
As the weather gets warmer, civil engineering (CE) crews are preparing to curtail heat in some areas of the base. CE will monitor the weather closely and make adjustments to the heating and air conditioning systems as appropriate. Monitoring and making proactive adjustments to these systems could save as much as $150,000 from the normal May utility bill.
