As part of an agreement between the Union, Local 1592, and the 75th Force Support Squadron, all bargaining unit employees who were Club Hill members on Dec. 1, 2011, the date the FSS announced a change in club member benefits, will receive a $7 coupon that can be used to purchase food at The Landing. This coupon can be picked up from the cashier at The Landing immediately, and will expire April 30. Members will need to provide proof of membership at that time; a copy of their November 2011 statement will suffice.

All persons providing child care in their home for more than 10 hours per week must be licensed.

Unlicensed child care may result in the loss of base housing privileges.

If you suspect someone of providing unlicensed child care please call 801-777-0695; a child's well being may depend on your call. Those that are not Licensed FCC Providers should not be permitted to advertise or post notices in installation publications or on bulletin boards.

Since its inception in 1942, the Air Force Aid Society has been committed to helping Air Force members and their families realize their academic goals.

The Warrior Fitness Center will expand its hours starting on Dec. 10.

The new schedule will be:

Monday - Friday: 4:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Saturday and Sunday: 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Holidays and Family Days: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

A Utah National Guard Military Education Fair will be held at the Viridian Event Center, 8030 S. 1825 West, in West Jordan on Nov. 28, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

All military branches and veterans are welcome to attend. This one-of-a-kind education fair will be packed full of knowledge and free workshops to learn more about education and military education benefits.

Services provided include education guidance and career guidance. Free workshops include the following topics: tuition assistance, veteran benefits, MYCAA, and scholarships.

The Utah Safety Council is offering four-hour defensive driving courses for individuals in the Ogden area. Courses are held throughout each month, at its location at Weber State University in Ogden. The course will be held at the Shepherd Union Building in Room 316 on Saturday, Nov. 17 from 8 a.m. to noon and in Room 321 on Tuesday, Nov. 13 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The four-hour course consists of classroom instruction and focuses on collision prevention, driving confidence, awareness of hazards and improving driving skills.

In an effort to assist the Top of Utah area military community as they transition into the civilian workforce, select Home Depot locations in the area will host two Civilian Career Workshops on Saturday, Oct. 27.

Attendees must register online in advance of the workshops at careers.homedepot.com/military.

There will be a natural gas outage on Sunday, Nov. 4 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Questar Gas is replacing a high pressure transmission natural gas line at the intersection of Highway 193 and Hill Field Road just outside the South Gate.

Personnel officials seek applicants to be an American Indian/Alaskan Native Employment Program Manager (Announcement No. AIANP 01-12.)

Applications for this collateral duty position-will be accepted June 28 to July 25.

As collateral duty positions, the employee will perform the duty in addition to regularly assigned responsibilities. Duties with the position should constitute 20 percent of assigned duty time.
