The TriCare Dental Plan (TDP) provides comprehensive dental care for more than 2 million enrollees worldwide including active duty family members and members of the Selected Reserve, Individual Ready Reserve and their eligible family members. Beginning May 1, the TDP will be administered by MetLife which will manage enrollment, claims processing and customer service.

On March 16, TriCare Management Activity (TMA) announces its intent to award a contract to UnitedHealth Military and Veterans Services in the West Region in support of the third generation of TriCare Managed Care Support contracts, also known as "T-3." Health care delivery, under the new contract, is scheduled to begin April 1, 2013. TMA is committed to keeping beneficiaries and stakeholders informed about the transition. Come for 18 holes of golf May 31 at the Hubbard Golf Course at Hill Air Force Base. Check-in, registration and continental breakfast will be from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m.; tee off follows at 8 a.m.

Phase 3 of the effort to repave the medical clinic parking lot is scheduled April 16 through April 30, weather permitting. On April 16, the main driveway and the clinic parking area the furthest southeast of Building 570 will be closed for repaving. Traffic will be detoured to alternate parking areas. Accessibility and crosswalks will be maintained as deemed safe around construction equipment.

The National Gym Association (NGA) natural bodybuilding, figure, bikini, men's physique and fitness championships will be held Saturday, April 14, at Bountiful High School in Bountiful, Utah; with prejudge at 10 a.m. and the evening show at 7 p.m. The event, which features the best natural/drug-free bodybuilders in the Mountain Region, is the biggest body building show in Utah and is celebrating its 66th anniversary.

The 649th MUNS will be conducting a 100 percent inventory of the depot (FV2172) stockpile through April 30.

Devil Dash is the ultimate 5K Race for thrill-seeking athletes and party-goers. On Saturday, Aug. 4, fearless runners will head to Ogden, to take on intense obstacles through Purgatory, running through more than three miles of adventurous terrain and celebrating with friends and family during an all-day festival with live music, food and beer in the Beer Garden of Eden. Additional 2012 Devil Dash Venues include: Lyons, Colo.; Phoenix and Las Vegas.

The U.S. Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) is filling three Air Force officer vacancies for summer to fall 2012 at Detachment 855, Brigham Young University. Please consider coming to BYU for an assignment as an Air Force Reserve Officers Training Corps instructor. It is a great career broadening assignment, or a capstone for your career if you are considering retiring in the near future.
