The Gerrity Memorial Library will have new hours: Monday through Friday, 11 a.m to 5 p.m. and on Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The library will be closed on Friday and Saturday.
Story hour will be Wednesdays at 2 p.m. and Home School Library will be Thursdays at 1 p.m.
Beginning Jan. 3, Westside (Building 1235) and Crosswinds (Building 230) restaurants will have new hours. Westside will be open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to noon and will close on down Fridays, weekends and all holidays.
Crosswinds will be open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to noon, closing at 10 a.m. on down Fridays. Crosswinds will be closed on weekends and holidays.
On Feb. 2, at The Landing (formerly known as Club Hill) a prayer breakfast will be held in conjunction with the National Day of Prayer.
Gen. (Ret.) Robert C. Oaks, former commander of U.S. Air Forces in Europe and Air Training Command, will keynote the event to begin at 7:30 a.m.
Tickets will be available from the chapel until Jan. 31 and from first sergeants until Jan. 27.
The theme of the event is "Faith, Freedom and Prayer."
Cost is $5 per person.
March 13-16 marks the return of Hill's Ski Meet after a 14 year absence. The fee is $425 for three days of racing and all-area lift tickets to Snowbasin. For those interested, or to register, contact Outdoor Recreation at 801-777-2225 or 801-777-9666. Registration ends Jan. 16 with a $100 non-refundable deposit. Full payment due by Feb. 15.

New Year's Eve Lock In, Dec. 31 will feature activities for ages 9-18. Ring in the New Year among your friends at the Youth Center from 7:45 p.m. on Dec. 31 to 8 a.m. on Jan. 1. Cost is $30 for members and $35 for nonmembers and includes games and activities, pizza and a light breakfast.
The Landing (formerly Club Hill) will be ringing in the New Year from 8 p.m. with hors d'ouvres until 11 p.m., and will include a midnight toast, followed up by a breakfast buffet -- all of this plus a DJ to dance the night away. Cost is $50 per couple, $25 individual, $60 for nonmember couples and $30 for nonmember individual.
Youth Dollar Day is Dec. 30 at the Bowling Center from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Youth can buy a game for $1, shoe rental for $1, and hot dogs for $1. Call 801-777-6565 for information about other great bowling programs.
