All military and on-duty civilian employees at the Ogden Air Logistics Center have been given the opportunity (mission requirements permitting) to voluntarily participate Monday, June 10, in an airfield foreign object damage prevention walk, more commonly known as a FOD Walk for Fiscal Year 2013. Historically an estimated two thousand individuals have turned out for this event.

The 367th Training Support Squadron, "The Griffin," recently announced the release of "Maintenance Operations Management," an Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) course for maintenance managers. The course, Maintenance Operations Management (MOM), has been uploaded to the Aeronautical Data Link System. With over 8,000 hours of production, contributions from 12 subject matter experts from multiple major commands, and a great amount of ingenuity, the course is now available.
In the spirit of remembering and honoring the efforts of security forces efforts, activities for National Police Week, will continue through Friday. Thursday, May 16, a Police Week Endurance Fitness Challenge will be held at the Warrior Fitness Center Track Parking Lot at 9 a.m. Four person teams will compete various tasks, in an Air Force Rodeo. There will be a High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle pull, a tug of war and various team challenges.
The Armed Forces Indoor Volleyball Tournament concluded with its last two matches on Sunday afternoon with strong showings in the men’s and women’s division by Army teams who took gold.
The Army women defeated the Air Force women’s team after losing the first set, 19-25, by changing the momentum in the second set, 25-15, and taking a win after hard-fought lengthy plan in the third, 25-20, and settling it once and for all, 25-17 in the fourth.

When it comes to energy conservation, there have been several notable periods in American history when the American people willingly incorporated small daily changes into their lives to preserve resources for the greater good. For instance during World War II, fuel and even food was rationed. And during the oil crisis of 1973 and again in 1979, people adjusted thermostats and slowed down to lower driving speeds to conserve energy.
