Commander's Cup golf tournament benefits Hill Aerospace Museum
HILL AIR FORCE BASE -- The Aerospace Heritage Foundation of Utah, which supports the Hill Aerospace Museum, will hold its annual Commander's Cup golf tournament at Hubbard Golf Course Oct. 1.
Each year amateur and professional golfers participate in the tournament, and this year's event won't be any different. Several golfers from the local area are slated to play, as well as LPGA Tour professional Brittany Lincicome, who will also host a pre-tournament golf clinic for players.
Hill hosts Air Force outstanding golf program with Hubbard
Tony Angelico, director of the Hill AFB Hubbard Golf Course is honored as he reflects on the proud history of awards and accolades the course has consistently received. In March, Hubbard was named as the most outstanding golf program out of the entire Air Force, competing with 66 bases. This is the second time the Hubbard Golf Course has received this award; they first received it in 2009.
Chill on the Hill to offer diversity of family outing activities
Mark your calendars for one of the best family events at Hill Air Force Base — Chill on the Hill. It’s scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 11 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Hubbard Golf Course. There will be a plethora of events to delight the young and the young at heart.
