The Hill Air Force Base Chief of Safety Lt. Col. Nathan Myers reminds all drivers and pedestrians at Hill Air Force Base to use extreme caution in the new West Gate area.

The Installation Chief of Safety issued the caution and said anyone traveling through the area is advised to do so by vehicle and not on foot. The cautionary period is set to last through May when construction is anticipated to be finished.

Myers urges all pedestrians walking between buildings to remain vigilant and never assume an approaching vehicle sees them.
