AFCEA Scholarships awarded to Utah college students
Jan. 24 was no ordinary day along the Wasatch Front. Although Utah is known for the “Greatest Snow on Earth,” new ice — sheets of it — blanketed the area. Traffic was snarled as a rare winter rain combined with an inversion creating an icky commute, with Interstate-15 a slow moving crawl from Nephi to Logan.
Hill professional security specialists receive SFPC
On March 29, professional certifications conferred by the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence were presented at Hill Air Force Base. Col. Don Hickman, acting commander for the 75th Air Base Wing, presented the Security Fundamentals Professional Certifications (SFPC) which demonstrate an understanding of the concepts and principles critical to protect Defense Department assets and promote professional understanding. This is a part of the Department of Defense's Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) program.
