2013 Hiring Our Heroes Job Fair and Governor’s Military and Family Summit

The Hiring Our Heroes Job Fair is for veterans, active duty military members, Guard and Reserve members and military spouses. This event will be a one-of-a-kind “free” hiring fair for both employers and job seekers. An “Employment Assistance Workshop” will take place prior to the job fair at 10 a.m. Parking at the Salt Palace is free, but space is limited.

Veterans’ benefits providers will also be available to answer questions and provide assistance.

This U.S. Chamber of Commerce sponsored hiring event is being conducted by the Utah Veterans and Military Employment Coalition, the Utah Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), the Utah Department of Veterans’ Affairs, the Utah Department of Workforce Services, the Salt Lake, Davis and Ogden-Weber Chambers of Commerce, the Department of Labor’s Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (DOL VETS), the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs, NBC News, and many other local partners.
