The Unit Project Officers have until May 10 to turn in outstanding forms and contributions for the AFAF Fund Drive, said 1st Lt. Daniel Prather, Air Force Assistance Fund Installation project officer.
"To date we have raised $61,247" he said. "We are at 85.2 percent of our goal with $10,642 left to raise. Statistically, we are already doing better than last year but I hope to reach 100 percent (of our goal) by the end."
So far the active duty participation rate is 15.6 percent and the average donation is $96.91. At that rate, participation needs to increase to 19.63 percent for Hill AFB to make its goal, he said.

Donations go to the Air Force Villages, Air Force Aid Society, Gen. and Mrs. E. Curtis LeMay Foundation and the Enlisted Air Force Village, all of which assist Air Force families in need. These include active duty, retirees, reservists, guard and dependents and surviving spouses.
