The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center and Defense Acquisition University will host the 2016 Acquisition Insight Days June 14-15 on the campus of the Air Force Institute of Technology at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.

The theme of the event will be “Acquisition in Transition,” and attendees will have the opportunity to engage senior leaders from the Department of Defense and Air Force on a variety of acquisition, technology and logistics issues.

“Acquisition Insight Focus Days is the premier training event for our acquisition workforce,” said Eric Dilworth, Director of Personnel for AFLCMC. “The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center is excited to team with our partners at the Defense Acquisition University Mid-West Region to make this all-star cast of guest speakers and subject matter expert’s available to acquisition professionals here and other major locations.”

Some of the speakers scheduled for the event include General Ellen Pawlikowski, Commander of Air Force Materiel Command; Terry Emmert, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (Materiel Readiness); Shay Assad, Director of Defense Pricing; Heidi Grant, Deputy Under Secretary of the Air Force for International Affairs, and Randy Brown, Director, Air Force Civil Engineer Center.

Acquisition Insight Days will be broadcast live and available to view through web streaming.
