The ninth annual Hill AFB Science Engineering and Technical Management (SE&TM) Awards Banquet at The Landing honored Hill's best and brightest from the Science Engineering and Technical Management community for their outstanding accomplishments for the period of Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2011.

The award winners represent three tenants of Hill AFB: the Ogden Air Logistics Center (OO-ALC), the Air Force Global Logistics Support Center's (AFGLSC) 748th Supply Chain Management Group and the Air Force Nuclear Weapon Center's (AFNWC) ICBM Systems Directorate.

There were 25 award categories including the Director's Choice -- best of the peer award nominations. Peer awards are submitted by the rank and file engineers and scientists from center and recognize the best and most helpful and productive engineers that may not otherwise be recognized.

There were a total of 102 nominees for 77 SE&TM Awards and 25 peer nominees.

Approximately 280 were in attendance at the Feb. 22 ceremony, with light entertainment provided by Mike Polzin and Lt. Kevin Nufer, members of the Hill Air Force Base Science and Engineering community.

All SE&TM winners will go forward to compete at the Air Force Material Command Level.
