January 3, 2013

On Jan. 3 'The Landing' (formerly Club Hill), located in Building 450, will begin a kitchen remodeling project that is expected to last 60 days. When complete, the changes will allow the restaurant and catering departments to provide improved customer service.

During the remodeling period lunch service will be suspended along with the Saturday two for one special, Wacky Wednesday and TGIF Friday member socials, and the monthly membership appreciation dinner.

The enlisted and officers lounges will remain open, but food options will be limited to bar snacks. The enlisted lounge will close from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. each day. For a complete list of hours be sure to visit http://75thforcesupport.com/contact/index.html.

Catering operations will continue with a few variations in menu options.

A grand re-opening is expected in mid March.

As a lunch alternative the 75th Force Support Squadron suggests patrons try the Bowling Center snack bar or Crosswinds Restaurant located in Building 230.

And great news for everyone who works on the west side of the base, Runway Ruby's will be moving its restaurant operation from Building 460 and into Building 1235 effective Monday, Jan. 7. Hours of operation will be Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Ruby's will be serving the same great items everyone has grown to love including soup, sandwiches, and salads. In addition, they will be adding to the salad menu, have daily specials and adding hamburgers to the line-up. Ruby's will also offer Starbuck's coffee, a house blend and make short order breakfast items.

If patrons 'Like' Ruby's Runway on Facebook they can see the daily specials.
