AFMC Warriors,
The 2012 Air Force Assistance Fund (AFAF) campaign kicks off Monday, Feb. 6 (dates for individual bases vary) and will run through May 4. Each base in our command will offer you an opportunity to contribute to the AFAF. Unlike other charitable campaigns, the AFAF is run by Airmen, for the benefit of Airmen, Air Force retirees, and their families.
The AFAF administers four different charities:
- The Air Force Enlisted Village
- The Air Force Village
- The Air Force Aid Society
- The General and Mrs. Curtis E. LeMay Foundation
Your generosity last year was overwhelming. Collectively, the men and women of AFMC contributed over $718,000 to AFAF charities. That was truly a significant achievement, particularly in these tough economic times. For those who plan to contribute, I would like to say thank you in advance for helping to make a difference in the lives of your fellow Airmen and their families. For those that may still have questions about this campaign, please contact your unit project officer for information.
Thank you for your support.
