The Team Hill-Junior Force Council (TH-JFC) presents the first 2011 Speaker Series, 9 a.m.- 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 27, at the Base Theater. The topic will be an overview of the Falcon Hill National Aerospace Research Park.
The speaker series is an opportunity for all members of Team Hill to hear informative speakers talking about relevant, interesting topics relating to what's happening on base, how it affects the individual and the base as a whole. It also provides attendees with an opportunity to communicate with senior leadership, to ask questions and gain a better understanding of the big picture at the base.
The key note speaker for Wednesday's event will be Darrin Wray, the Enhanced Use Lease Program Manager for Falcon Hill. Wray will provide an update on the Falcon Hill Project which is being developed on the west side of the base. Not only will this project bring significant changes to the base in terms of new roads, buildings and utilities, but it will also bring growth and jobs to neighboring communities. Wray's presentation will be followed by a question and answer session.
Both active duty and Department of Defense civilians on base are encouraged to attend. There is an Ogden Air Logistics Center release letter for military and civil service, authorizing employees an excused absence for the period of participation to attend this event.
