Blood drive by ICBM Systems Directorate

On Tuesday, March 6, the ICBM Systems Directorate will hold a blood drive in the parking lot north of Building 1221.

It takes approximately 20 minutes for the donation process. A third of the donations go to troops. Every month 2,500 pints of blood are needed for critically ill patients - cancer patients, trauma victims, anemia patients and at-risk newborns.

More blood drives

There will be blood drives at Building 568 on March 9 and 23 and April 6, between 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. and donate blood.

Donations aid the peacetime and contingency requirements for military personnel and local community healthcare. One pint of blood you donate can save up to three lives!. Walk-ins are welcome. Please request supervisor approval if during duty hours.

649th Munitions Squadron inventory

February 23, 2012

The 649th Munitions Squadron will be conducting 100 percent inventories of the base (FV2027), Test (FV2171) and STAMP (FV2304) stockpiles from March 1 through March 30.

During the inventories, the only transactions that will be supported are emergency requests approved in writing by the group commander or equivalent. Please direct any questions to Staff Sgt. 388 EMS Munitions Inventory March 1-16

February 23, 2012

An inventory of all munitions on the base stock record for the 388th Fighter Wing will occur March 1-16. This inventory will not affect the daily flying schedule for Hill Air Force Base.

Munitions customers will not be issued munitions or be able to turn in munitions during this closed warehouse inventory. Emergency issues will be available if it meets all the requirements in Air Force Instruction 21-201 paragraph 7.13.2.3. This inventory will not affect munitions already issued to a munitions account. It will also not affect assets courtesy stored within the munitions storage area. After the inventory and reconciliation, the munitions flight will resume normal operations. Hill Appreciation Night for basketball

Weber State University women's basketball is having a Hill Air Force Base Appreciation Day on Saturday, Feb. 25, at 2 p.m. The women's basketball team will play Northern Colorado at the Dee Events Center.

Complimentary admission, courtesy of America First Credit Union, is offered to all Hill Air Force Base personnel for this game with valid ID. In addition, each family can receive up to five complimentary tickets. Free parking is available at the Dee Events Center.
