Children are encouraged to participate in the World-Wide Bowling program hosted by the Youth Center. From April 5 to May 1, kids can bowl with their Youth Programs, friends, family and even compete with Air Force youth around the world.
Participants will be divided into four age divisions: 5-8 year olds, 9-11 year olds, 12-14 year olds, and 15-18 year olds. The top three scores for each age group will be submitted to the respective major command, and high game and series scores for each age division will be announced on Aug. 6. Participants have a chance to win a new bowling ball and bag.
Players are able to earn points for the Fit Family Program, and those with DePLAYment tags bowl free.
To participate, pick up a score card at the Youth Center and sign up. For more information, please contact the Youth Center at 777-2419 or visit www.afyouthprograms.com. For more information on the Fit Family Program, please visit www.usaffitfamily.com.
